Description: In 2019, the Court of Appeal published an opinion regarding the probate court’s sua sponte removal of co-trustees.  Trolan v. Trolan, along with prior case law, provides important insight into the issue of trustee removal. Hoge Fenton attorneys Denise Chambliss and Ariel Siner will provide analysis and insight into the issue of trustee removal with recommendations for Dos and Don’ts in either petitioning to have a trustee removed or defending a trustee removal action.
