Hoge Fenton attorneys Denise Chambliss and Nazar Ghosseiri will be presenting at the San Mateo County Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Section- Non-Pro Rata Distributions in Trust Administrations: Creating Equalized Divisions on September 21, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.

Description:

Presenters will discuss the issues and concerns involved in a non-pro rata distribution of trust assets, the trustee’s authority under Probate Code §16246 and the powers set forth in a trust instrument.  The discussion will touch on changes in real property valuation under the newly adopted partition laws, Property 19 property tax reassessments, and complications with an illiquid trust.

Cost: Cost is $20 per person for members of the SMCBA Estate Planning Section and $35 for others. Cost includes 1.0 hour of General Law MCLE.
