Practice Overview
With 45 years of legal experience, John Marshall Collins is well known and respected in the Silicon Valley legal community.
John offers full service representation in real estate matters to owners, sellers, buyers, developers, landlords, tenants, brokers, and others, covering sales, leases and lease terminations, property management, brokerage lease terminations, and real estate litigation. He also represents individuals in estate and personal planning matters, and advises businesses and commercial enterprises in formation, purchase/sale, operations, and dissolutions. John is well known for expertise in handling real estate matters for charter schools.
He has served as an adjunct professor at Santa Clara University School of Law since 2009, teaching Real Estate Conveyancing to upper divisions students. He served as board member, officer, and president of the Santa Clara County Bar Association in the early 1980’s, and he is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell.
Although John will maintain his solo law practice, his firm John Marshall Collins, P.C. will be Of Counsel to Hoge Fenton.
