Tahira Kairon

Practice Overview

Tahira Kairon is an Associate in Hoge Fenton’s Family Law Group. Tahira’s practice focuses on High Net Worth Divorce, Child Custody, Dometic Violence and Marital Support.

Tahira comes to us from Deloitte, where she focused on indirect tax, multistate tax, tax implications of M&A transactions, and California tax laws. Before joining Deloitte, Tahira worked as a summer associate at McCormick Barstow LLP as well as with the criminal division of the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C.

Tahira is tri-lingual, also speaking Hindi and Punjabi. Outside work, Tahira enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and exploring local eateries and wineries.

Background

Tahira received her J.D. from UC Davis School of Law with a specialization in Tax and Business law. She served as the Publications Director and Vice President of her law school’s Business Law Journal and a Research Editor for the school’s Journal of International Law and Policy. Prior to that she received her B.A. from The George Washington University in Political Science.
