Employment Law Seminar – Advanced Leaves of Absence

By Hoge Fenton | 04.12.2016 | Speaking Engagements & Firm Events

Complying with leave laws is challenging, and with California’s new paid sick leave law, the landscape has become even more
complex. In this interactive session, you will learn about the various California and Federal leaves of absence to which employees
are entitled and how to evaluate the interaction between those leaves.  Through hypothetical scenarios and Hoge Fenton’s newly-
updated Leaves of Absence flow chart, you may just leave the seminar a certified leaves of absence wizard!

The focus of this employment seminar will include:

        • Coordination of state and federal leave laws
  • The impact of California’s paid sick leave law
  • Intermittent leaves of absence
  • How “reasonable accommodation” requirements can extend job protection beyond FMLA/CFRA

This event is by invitation only — if you’d like to refer someone to attend the event, please first contact us. Thank you!
