We hope you find this positive message refreshing during these challenging times.

Hoge Fenton is pleased to announce that Managing Shareholder Dan Ballesteros has been honored by the Silicon Valley Business Journal with the Latino Business Leadership Award.

Each year the Silicon Valley Business Journal honors exemplary Latino business owners, executives, entrepreneurs and Latino-led companies for their contributions and commitments to the community, along with their outstanding professional performance, achievements, and leadership.

In the article published in the Silicon Valley Business Journal, Dan emphasizes the importance of a company reflecting the community it serves. Dan joined Hoge Fenton in 1989, became a Shareholder in 1996, and was named Managing Shareholder in 2013. Under his leadership, the firm’s shareholders now include more than 40 percent women, and approximately one-third are of an ethnic minority.

“Dan is the kind of managing partner who focuses on the leadership element of their role and serves as a valuable coach to others in the firm,” said Grace Carr Lee, former executive director at Hoge Fenton. “He identifies and nurtures people’s strengths,” she said. “He would encourage them and expect that they would grow and then contribute to the firm.”

On behalf of Dan Ballesteros, we thank the Silicon Valley Business Journal for this honor.
