Celebrating Juneteenth

June 19, 1865, is a date that holds great significance to Texas. On that day in Galveston, slaves learned they were free. But realizing that freedom didn’t come easy for them.
To commemorate Juneteenth and learn about the holiday and its origin in southeast Texas, Hoge Fenton’s DEI programming committee hosted a viewing event for our employees of the documentary, “Juneteeth:1865-2021,” at all three of our Silicon Valley, Tri-Valley, and Peninsula offices.
