Sblend Sblendorio is a board member of i-GATE Development Corporation, designated by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development as one of six “innovation hubs” (iHubs) in the State of California.
Based in Livermore, i-GATE is a public-private nonprofit that extends throughout the Tri-Valley region and includes programs and special facilities at Sandia National Laboratories/California, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the Joint BioEnergy Institute, and the University of California campuses at Berkeley and Davis. Its purpose is to grow a regional innovation ecosystem to maximize the economic potential of green transportation and clean energy technologies by linking together the national labs and universities, entrepreneurs, VCs, and the business community.
In a strong step in i-GATE’s growth, we have recently established an incubator for NEST–National Energy Systems Technology. Please attend our grand opening and learn about i-GATE and NEST.
