Practice Overview

Andrew McClelland is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Land Use Practice Group. Andrew has been practicing law for more than 16 years. His practice focuses on civil litigation, specifically commercial, real estate, and construction litigation.

Andrew represents business and property owners to protect their interests and assets in business, real estate, and construction disputes.

Before joining Hoge Fenton, Andrew worked at Lunski & Stimpert LLP for nine years, as an associate from 2015–2020 and as a partner from 2021–2024. He represented both property owners and construction professionals in construction defect and dispute litigation. Andrew represented residential property buyers and sellers in “failure to disclose” lawsuits. He represented co-owners of property or small businesses in litigation concerning co-ownership conflicts such as partitions, quiet title, and “business divorces.” Andrew has defended small business owners in litigation, including breach of contract, commercial fraud, and intellectual property issues.

Prior to joining Lunski & Stimpert LLP, Andrew worked as an associate at several regional insurance defense law firms focusing on construction litigation, insurance coverage, and premises liability defense.

Background

Andrew received his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, ranking in the top 5% of his graduating class. He obtained a certificate in International Studies, with a focus on Intellectual Property Law. Andrew also received the Witkin Awards for the highest marks in Evidence, Patents, and International Criminal Law. He was an Associate Managing Editor for the McGeorge Global Business and Development Law Journal. Andrew worked as a judicial extern for US District Court Judge Kimberly Mueller and a law clerk for the Yolo County Public Defender.
