Live Webinar – Ethical Issues Confronting Trusts & Estates Lawyers

The Estate Planning & Probate Section invites you to a live webinar with Alison Buchanan on Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm.

Description: This live online program will focus on attorney ethics issues relevant to estate planning, trust, and probate lawyers.  Specifically, we will address some of the more pertinent revised Rules of Professional Conduct (what is new, what stayed the same, and what wasn’t included), risk management best practices particularly important for estate planning and trust lawyers, and the new California Rules of Court requiring training for those serving as independent counsel in conservatorships and guardianships.

Cost: $20 for Estate Planning Section members and $30 for non-section members. Cost includes 1 hour of Legal Ethics credit.
