Complying with leave laws is challenging, and with the expanded reach of the California Family Rights Act and California’s newly-required bereavement leave, the landscape has become even more complex. In this interactive session, you will learn about the various California and Federal leaves of absence to which employees are entitled and the interaction between those leaves. Through hypothetical scenarios, we will help make this complicated area of the law easier to manage.

California’s new bereavement leave law
How “reasonable accommodation” requirements under FEHA/ADA can extend job protection beyond FMLA/CFRA
