Barbara Spector Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

We are very proud to announce that Barbara Spector received the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association (SCCTLA) 2013 John George Lifetime Achievement Award.

The award is given to SCCTLA attorney members whose careers have been highly distinguished, and whose achievements and contributions are widely recognized as significant and outstanding in the legal field. Barbara was the organization’s first woman president.

“SCCTLA is honored to present this award to Ms. Spector for her continued commitment to social justice, her contributions to SCCTLA, and her outstanding skills as an attorney and mentor,” said Kirsten Fish, SCCTLA President.

Spector said, “I am pleased to be recognized for my lifetime achievements by this distinguished group of lawyers.”

In addition to a long and distinguished career as a litigator and ADR facilitator, Barbara is currently a member of the Los Gatos Town Council where she was selected as the new mayor in November 2013 and has previously served as its vice-mayor. Barbara has also served as a member of the Los Gatos Planning Commission.
