Practice Overview

With over nine years of legal experience, Travis Robertson brings extensive expertise in corporate law, particularly within the startup and technology sectors. His core competencies encompass licensing, commercial transactions, corporate governance, privacy, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions.

Travis is dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs and innovators in achieving their goals and developing their ideas. He values collaboration, innovation, and diversity and brings a global perspective and cross-cultural understanding to his work.

Travis joined us from Silicon Legal Strategy, where he served as a corporate associate, providing outside general counsel services to corporate startup and technology clients. In this capacity, he advised on diverse legal and business matters, including privacy and data protection regulations, corporate governance, fundraising, product development, open-source software implementation, and employee benefits and equity. Additionally, he negotiated and drafted numerous technology and commercial agreements and represented clients in venture fundraising rounds, strategic partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Before his tenure at Silicon Legal Strategy, Travis was an Associate at Fenwick & West, where he represented startup clients and venture capital firms in venture capital financings and private and public companies in mergers and acquisitions transactions and asset sales.

Background

Travis is also the co-founder and former COO of Mobimeds, Inc., a prescription drug delivery company. At Mobimeds, he designed and implemented an operational plan servicing twelve cities throughout the Bay Area, developed a multi-state compliance plan, and successfully fundraised a Series Seed financing.

Travis earned his B.A. magna cum laude from Brigham Young University, with a double major in International Relations and Japanese. He holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as an editor of the Stanford Technology Law Review. Additionally, he gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at the Securities and Exchange Commission.
