Olivia C. Manning is a member of Hoge Fenton’s Privacy and Data Security Practice Group.
Prior to joining Hoge Fenton, Olivia gained experience working on commercial contracts, ad tech matters, and data privacy matters as in-house counsel for Tapjoy.
Olivia obtained her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law where she received a Privacy Law Certificate and was a nominee for the Mabie Award for Outstanding Graduate. During law school, Olivia worked at eBay as a Privacy Operations Specialist, at McAfee as a Privacy Intern, at Edelson PC as a Legal Extern, and at ASAR Law as an extern abroad in Kuwait City. As a student, her IAPP publications spearheaded the international discussion on whether U.K. lead-authorized Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) could continue as adequate data transfer mechanisms post-Brexit. Olivia also served as Student Chapter President for ChIPS®, a nonprofit organization advancing women in technology, a Journal of International Law member, and a Woman-In-Law mentor. Prior to law school, she earned her B.A. from Boston University in international relations and history, making the Dean’s List four times.
