Julia E. Siewit

Practice Overview

Julia Siewit is an associate attorney in Hoge Fenton’s Corporate and Business Law Practice Group.  Her practice focuses on assisting clients with forming business entities, corporate governance, and assisting with mergers and acquisitions. Julia also specializes in corporate taxation by guiding clients to minimize tax liability.

Prior to joining the firm, Julia was a tax associate at KPMG, where she drafted due diligence reports that identified key issues in order to obtain Representations and Warranties Insurance for private equity clients. She also prepared post-deal structures for clients to minimize tax liability and assisted clients with REIT analysis.

Julia interned for Andersen, LLC where she aided clients with drafting tax analysis and R&D Credit Calculations. She also provided legal support to Rankin | Stock | Heaberlin supporting attorneys with reviewing depositions, monitoring discovery requests, and conducting client intake.

Background

Julia received her J.D. and Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She was the president of the Students for Tax and Estate Planning Society and served on the Case Counsel, Moot Court Program. Julia is currently a member of the California State Bar.
