Practice Overview

Tanya is a highly skilled attorney with a passion for corporate and real estate transaction law, focused on counseling companies, start-ups, and individuals. Tanya advises clients in all aspects of corporate and real estate law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, entity formation, and restructuring, commercial real estate transactions, and more. Tanya is committed to providing personalized, client-focused legal representation, and takes the time to fully understand each client’s needs and goals. Whether working with a start-up or a national corporation, Tanya is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their objectives and overcome any legal obstacles that may arise.

After spending several years at Hoge Fenton, Tanya made the decision to step away and gain valuable experience working in-house for a real estate investment company for a year. Now, Tanya has returned to Hoge Fenton, bringing a new perspective and valuable insights gained during her time away. Prior to initially joining Hoge Fenton in 2017, Tanya practiced corporate law where she advised clients on business transactional matters and stock option and equity plans at a boutique law firm in San Jose, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley in 2008 and her Juris Doctorate from the Honors Law Program at Golden Gate University School of Law in 2012 with a specialization in Business Law. During law school, she was an editor for the Environmental Law Journal, served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Roger L. Efremsky, was the President of the Corporate Law Student Group, and was a recipient of the Joseph R. and June B. Rensch Endowed Law Scholarship

Community

Tanya previously served on the Board of Directors of Ms. JD, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to promoting the success of women in the legal profession, for several years.
