We are pleased to announce that Natasha M. Parrett has become a shareholder of the firm.

We are pleased to announce that family law attorney Natasha M. Parrett has been elevated to shareholder, effective January 1.

“I came to Hoge Fenton because of its reputation for great legal work and involvement in the local community,” said Parrett. “The past three years have shown me that the reputation is more than well deserved and convinced me that this is where my future belongs. It’s a great honor and privilege to have been chosen to become a shareholder at Hoge Fenton. I look forward to helping lead our family law practice to thrive and expand in the decades ahead.”

“Natasha is exactly the type of lawyer and person we like to have in our firm,” added Steven D. Siner, the firm’s Managing Shareholder. “She has demonstrated both a high level of competency and expertise in family law practice and dedication to the mentorship of younger family law lawyers in the firm. We are pleased to bring her on board in this new role and look forward to her many contributions, both in her practice team and as a firm owner.”

Parrett limits her practice to family law. She is an experienced trial lawyer who focuses on complex marital dissolutions, particularly those involving large estates with significant assets and challenging financial, business, child custody, and other legal issues. Prior to joining Hoge Fenton, Parrett worked as a litigator for the New York City Administration for Children’s Services in Manhattan Family Court. She was responsible for representing the City of New York in serious child abuse and neglect cases, and served as a consulting attorney to the Division of Child Protection where she supervised a team of attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and litigation. Before that, Parrett was a trial lawyer for the Judge Advocate General’s Corps for the United States Navy and JAG Corps’ Claims Department Head, gaining invaluable experience trying serious federal cases as well as overseeing claims filed under a number of federal claims acts.

Parrett is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law and earned her undergraduate degree at U.C. Berkeley. She is admitted to practice in California, New York, and the Military Courts. Parrett was selected to the 2009 and 2010 “Northern California Rising Stars,” a listing of top lawyers under the age of 40 who have been in practice 10 years or fewer as chosen by her peers and through the research of Law & Politics and San Francisco Magazine.
