Practice Overview Jill Fox is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on professional liability and civil litigation. Ms. Fox’s experience includes litigation and counseling in legal malpractice and attorney fee disputes, attorney conflict of interest, and potential disqualification issues. Ms. Fox also has experience in complex trust and estate litigation and business litigation. While a law student at U.C. Hastings, Ms. Fox externed for the Honorable Ronald M. Whyte of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She received the Witkin Award for Excellence in Legal Ethics and Practice, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Negotiation. Professional and Community Activities Ms. Fox is a member of the American Bar, Santa Clara County Bar, and San Francisco Bar Associations. She represents pro bono clients through the San Francisco Bar’s Volunteer Legal Services Program. She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Bay Area Urban Debate League, a nonprofit that builds and supports debate programs in regional urban high schools. Before practicing law, Ms. Fox produced educational television programming for PBS, Lifetime Medical Television, and corporate clients. She has a Masters in Journalism from the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California, where she also taught undergraduate writing. Admissions Ms. Fox is admitted to practice law in all California courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit U. S. Court of Appeals. |
