Practice Overview Widely-recognized as an experienced advocate, Geoff has resolved environmental, subdivision, development, municipal, and redevelopment issues throughout California. Clients involve Geoff in projects and proposals at early stages, often before acquisition or leasing of the property, for his judgment and guidance in creating a proposal that is achievable and that minimizes the possibility of subsequent disputes. Geoff serves as the Chair of the Real Estate Group at Hoge Fenton. Professional ActivitiesGeoff is a member of the following Bar Associations and specialty sections:
Geoff served on the Boards of Directors of four publicly-traded Real Estate Investments Trusts. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Pleasanton and on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Mission Valley Bancorp. Mission Valley Bancorp subsequently was purchased by U.S. Bank. Geoff was named “Northern California Super Lawyer,” as chosen by his peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics and San Francisco Magazine, for the years 2003-2007. Geoff has served on the Board of Directors of numerous nonprofit organizations and been active in Chambers of Commerce throughout the region. He served as President of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce in 1987. |
