PRESS RELEASE: Hoge Fenton Lawyer Named to Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference Hoge Fenton Jones & Appel is pleased to announce that member James E. Towery has been selected as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. Towery, representing the federal bar for a three-year term, will meet with Northern District judges throughout the year to discuss matters of mutual concern. He focuses his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on professional liability and business litigation. Towery is a distinguished leader of the California Bar, serving as President in 1995-96, recently serving on the California Chief Justice’s Commission on Multi-Jurisdictional Practice and chairing its Task Force on Insurance Disclosure. He served in the ABA House of Delegates for ten years, and has been selected to the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was named a 2007 and 2008 “Northern California Super Lawyer,” as chosen by his peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics magazine. |
